Playing Short-handed

Back from Atlanta and the team is still in one piece, despite this incredible rash of ailments. Larry Hughes jammed his right big toe and will get treatment, meaning the Cavs had to finish off the win over the Hawks without five of their rotation guys - FIVE!

Speaking of 5, how about Ira getting some reps at that spot. One time Mike Brown called a play for him and moments later, Ira came to the huddle and said, "coach you have to tell me what the play is for a center, I have no idea." Ira had played some pivot in college because as he says his teammate who was a center didn't want to play the position because of being labeled "a center". Ira does enjoy playing power forward though because he feels he is quicker than traditional fours, but yet strong enough to hang with them at the other end of the floor.

One position he won't play is point. Mike laughed at that notion, and Ira shook his head, saying, "No...Way."

Tune into the Cavs version of "Grey's Anatomy" tomorrow night to see who is healthy enough to go against the Nuggets.
