Quick Turnaround in Boston

Hello from Bawwston - we all rolled into Beantown about 3:30 a.m., which meant the heads hit the pillows at about 4. It’s always a dilemma on a two hour type of flight from Milwaukee, do you stay awake, or sleep, and then run the risk of tossing and turning all night. Most of us chose the former...

The Cavs, just like a year ago are catching the Celtics coming off a west coast trip, with essentially no off day in between. They got back from LA yesterday after sunrise, and probably slept most of the day and now play tonight. It’s the same scenario the Cavs have faced two years in a row against Orlando at The Q - the Cavs have lost both of those games...

In fact, over the past two seasons, Eastern Conference teams in this type of brutal turnaround home game (most teams have to do it once a season) are 8-11, and this season are 2-5. Four more teams have to do it, including Detroit and Toronto...so, for the Celtics, this game tonight with truly feel like a road game...

No word yet on Z...he passed through the lockeroom last night and got right on the bus to the airport. Athletic trainer, Max Benton, who has the same upper respiratory bug, looked better this afternoon at brunch, so maybe that’s a good sign for the big fella...

See you tonight on FSN, for the final regular season meeting between these two teams - I emphasize REGULAR season because I think we’ll be back here in May!
